Germantown School District, Germantown Police Department Wisconsin, and the ALICE Training Institute have teamed up to bring ALICE Instructor Certification Training to Germantown on July 18-19, 2023.
ALICE—Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate—is a set of proactive strategies that move beyond traditional lockdown and increases the chance of survival during a violent intruder event. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀, 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.Those who complete the training will be able to train others in ALICE. The training will be held at the Germantown High School with instruction done by trainers from the ALICE Training Institute.
