Wall of SoundThe Wall of Sound had a great weekend performing at the Freshman Tailgate and Football Game. Thank you to everyone who watched their first performance. It is so exciting to play for a great crowd!

Marching Band Madness brought bands from Cedarburg, Greenfield, Sussex-Hamilton, and Franklin to Germantown. A BIG thank you to the over 90 volunteers who made everything possible. The reception the visiting bands receive is why they keep coming back. This weekend, the band travels to Franklin HS for their first fully scored competition of the season. Good luck!

FBFBFBFBGolfGirls Varsity golf had the opportunity to play Erin Hills in a scramble this Thursday. This was a fantastic experience for Seniors Cassie Kaszynski, Cali Croatt, Ally Pentek, Leah Brock and Erin Tonnessen to get to play a course that has hosted major championships. They showed up and played well carding a 39 on one of the toughest courses in Wisconsin. It was truly a team effort. Varsity also had another GMC Mini-Meet at Bluemound Country Club on Monday. Led by freshman Remy Lichtig and junior Emily Laitinen’s 45s the girls continue to show improvement every time on the course and are gearing up for our last week of conference play next week.

Led by sophomores Brynn Janczak’s 44 and Joie Czajka’s 49 the team lost by 2 strokes but continue to show growth and will look to have a successful end to the season next week at Brookfield Hills.

GolfGolfGolfGolfGolfGolfBoys SoccerGermantown Boys' Soccer hosted Menomonee Falls on Tuesday for Youth Night.  50+ youth soccer players came out to watch the game, walk out with the teams, and play on the field at halftime.  The Falls were the first team to score and they scored quickly on a short cross that was headed into the net, but that was the only goal they were able to score and the highlight of their night.  The rest of the game was dominated by Germantown.  Goals by Aaron Dethloff, Lewis Ankerson, and Paul Mrzyglod allowed Germantown to comfortably coast to a 3-1 win.

CelebrateCongratulations to Alexander Seboe, William Heller and Chet Davis for the amazing job they did in their mountain bike race at Minooka Park in Waukesha on Sunday. Alexander also earned a place on the podium for 5th place in his category. This course is known for its challenging hill at the start of the race and the athletes had to deal with rising temperatures throughout the day. There were over 600 athletes racing across the different categories at this race.
